The Norwegian Language:
Norwegian is a North Germanic language native to Norway. In Norway, the language is known as Norsk. It originated from Old Norse, the Scandinavian people who lived in the region during the Vikings Era. It is closely related to Swedish and Danish. Various dialects of Swedish, Danish, and Norwegian are mutually intelligible. Swedish in particular is very close to the Norwegian language. The mutual intelligibility of the Scandinavian languages makes them very popular. Even the cultures of Norway, Denmark, and Sweden are pretty similar.
Norwegian is the official language of Norway and is also spoken by the Norwegian diaspora communities in different parts of the world. It belongs to the Indo European language family. It is written in the Latin alphabet. Only a native translator of Norsk can have a deep understanding of it. For non-natives, it is just like the other Scandinavian languages.
